Gift Economy Practice

Please consider using a quilt of my gifting to begin gathering people to mend with. Contact me
and fill out the application to have a quilt sent to you. Each quilt will also include native prairie
seeds that have been gathered from my prairie restoration site in rural Minnesota. These seeds
can be left in the quilt, or planted.

How could you use this quilt?
● You could designate a mending circle for myself to set aside time to work on.
● You could arrange to have other people meet and work on personal mending/fiber arts
practice.
● You could start adding new pieces to the quilt solo or as a group.
● You could add new needlework to the existing pieces.
● You could applique new squares layering on top of existing pieces.
● Or… You could do whatever will meet your needs and make connections.
